i hart YouTube

My brother and sister-in-law came over this weekend, and Saturday night we spent too much time on YouTube looking up old TV shows that we watched as kids. I just found this!

Other shows we looked up:
The World of Oz
Hilarious House of Frightenstein
Classic Sesame Street
Davey and Goliath

ah, good times.

Oh my god. You're the best!
These shows bring back such fond memories of my childhood.

Ohhh, I sense an addiction coming on. Now I'm going to spend an hour on YouTube trying to "search" for more kids shows from the early 70's.

Thanks for the nostalgia :D

it is so weird to watch these things, and realise that you still. know. the. words!

Hope I didn't kill your entire evening, Sophie :P

You know what's really weird, is singing the jingles from these kids shows and having people (that are my age) say "what on earth are you singing?"

I have yet to find a person (except you of course)that remembers the words/songs so vividly.

I was beginning to think i was imagining things or maybe I'm just strange for retaining this stuff from so long ago.

p.s. Do you remember "Shazam", "Isis", "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl?" How about "Land of the Lost?" Oh oh, how about "Simon in the land of chalk drawings?"... "...well you know my name is Simon and the things I draw come true..."

ha ha ha
