Birthday goodness

Today, the boy is 31. But a very boyish 31.

I thought this photo was appropriate to doctor up for his embarassment since it was taken during our Italy trip last winter (uh, minus the hat...). Tomorrow, he leaves for Italy again for 10 days on a mountain trekking trip through the Alps - where he'd better be careful, if he knows what's good for him. He knows what I'm talking about. And tonight - we get to fill up on lots of Ethiopian food... mmm...
