You look like a monkey, and you act like one too!

Tomorrow is my sister's birthday and today
the boy, Claire and I drove out to give the sister her gift
- a new computer from the 3 of us, our mom
and Steph's brother and future sister-in-law.
The vegan cupcakes I baked
(recipe from Dreena Burton's The Everyday Vegan)
turned out well - but I already knew that since I stole 3 yesterday.
That is chocolate peanut butter icing, by the way.
mmmmm....

As she opened her present, I think I had her convinced
that we just used an IBM box for her gift.

PJ had to check out who this "intel" joker was
who was supposedly inside the box.
She figures she scared them away.

Make-your-own pizzas for lunch! My vegan pizza is on the bottom left:
tomato sauce, spinach, fresh basil, red onions,
artichokes, garlic, peppers, mushrooms and fake cheese.

I present to you: The Cupcake!

Claire calculates the caloric and fat content of the cupcake...

David calculates how many cupcakes he can eat,
based on the amount of M&Ms he just devoured...

Mom's just happy that she can now view the digital photos
from our Mexico trip 2 years ago on "Steph's" new computer!
*wink*

Thanks! I'll pass the well-wishing on to the sibling.

Krissy - the real reason she loved the cupcake necklace so much is that our much younger cousin, Terrence, calls her "Cupcake" :) She seems to have a theme going on....

Clearly a good time was had by all! Yummy-looking cupcakes. I went to a vegan bake sale at Uprising on Friday and had a delicious fluffy coconut cupcake. mmmm. It was a fundraiser for the SHAC 7 but not very well advertised.
